Hello my friends, welcome back to the morning mindset, Kerry Greene here.

It is time for you and me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God and we are doing

so today by looking at the book of Daniel chapter 2 verses 31 through 45.

Now this is the first situation in which we find Daniel confronted with a dream and in

this situation, it is not his dream, it is the dream of the king, Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel

is about to explain the dream to the king.

Now this begs all kinds of questions that we have in our modern day about dreams and

can God use them, does God use them, those sorts of things, well I don't think Daniel's

passage is going to tell us a definitive answer on all those questions.

But what I do think it tells us is that absolutely yes, God can use dreams and sometimes

God does use dreams and in our day we tend to shy away from that sort of a belief, we tend

to think it is just too unpredictable and it is not reliable and those kinds of things.

But I think the key to this whole thing in terms of dreams and interpretations and things

like that is one that we don't dig deeply enough to find.

And the key is this, the person who is receiving the dream and interpreting the dream in

that sense needs to be walking so intimately close with the Lord that he or she is able

to receive God's mind about the dream.

Now this is not to say that every dream is a message from God and I don't believe that's

true, scripture doesn't bear that out.

It should a dream come that God intends to be used to direct a person or to guide a

person or to give them some sort of insight about things that are about to take place,

which is exactly the type of dream that this one was.
