The So, Good morning.

God morning to you.

In order to develop a habit of thankfulness, a habit of giving thanks before it's done, you have to trust that it is given and although we usually show trust by

being silent silences trust sometimes we need a little more, a little practice, a litany of trust.

Although this one is addressed to Jesus, you can change the name, to the one that feels most at home most true for you. I'm going to say Jesus

because this is how it's written in this book Jesus I trust in you a 30-day personal retreat with a litany of trust by Sister Faustina Maria Pia.

In the way a litany works, I'll read a statement like from the belief that I have to

earn your love,

deliver me Jesus. And the only part you say with me is that last part,

deliver me Jesus. And then towards the end of this litany,

that statement changes to Jesus I trust in you and you'll repeat just

that last part and when I say Jesus I'm talking about the Christ that is speaking through working through healing through loving through the man, the body Jesus, a divinity that is working in you.

We're filling that and we're trusting that and

eventually thinking that unconditionally and truthfully, really thanking it, not thanking it so that it may do something,

perform something, give us something in exchange for this act of

thankfulness,

but a genuine thankfulness.

Close that body's eyes.

And breathe in light.

Breathe in. And breathe in light, in love, breathe in trucks.

Breathe God in. And as you exhale, fill it, starring you, sitting you up taller, delivering you from thought, from the belief that you have to earn God's love, say deliver me.

deliver me Jesus. From the fear that I am unlovable, deliver me Jesus.
