I want to tell you about a message that I received.

Somebody asked me the question,

if it's even possible for someone to want to be around a person who abused them. She told me that they were together

for a while, but let me see, they broke up with their ex about eight years ago, and they have

a child together. And recently she visited him because she has still, or she still has feelings for him,

and wanted to see if they could get back together. When she asked

about fixing things, he said no. He told her she was emotionally abusive to him back then,

and he mentioned that she would go through his phone, and she gave him the silent treatment

when she was angry, and she said she's apologized many times, and she didn't realize at the time that her

behavior was abusive.

And she learned that he was in a relationship with someone else and she asked, well, if

you're in a relationship with somebody else, why are you letting me come over here?

And he said that he only let her visit because she said she was bored.

He doesn't believe she'll change and he's actually moved on and he is happy.

She's confused because if he's truly happy and moved on, why did he allow her back into his life?
