It's been a miserable few days. I can honestly say with hand on very heavy heart and with tear in eye, it's been the most miserable time I think I've

known in a long while. It just really is that what with the weather, the atrocity in Paris,

the people on the television, I mean, it's just been dreadful. It really has. I can only hope

that things improve. The groups who've cancelled their appearances. I mean, it just upsets the apple cart.

It's ruined people's lives forever. Young people, old people. They didn't discriminate. They just

killed. And there was no reason for it at all. And then blew themselves up at the end of it.

And you just think to yourself, it's just so dreadful. People who are having to lie down,

pretending that they'd been shot so that they weren't going to get shot. People lying on top of dead people's bodies, people crawling through the blood. It was just the most appalling, the carnage and the, and the mayhem. Because people just went out to enjoy themselves. You're going out, we were saying actually earlier on that you're sitting in a restaurant and you're sort of, you've just had your meal served and just about to enjoy it and have a good conversation. The door bursts open and there's somebody standing there dressed in black with a, with a gun. And the first thought is, it's obviously some sort of joke, isn't it, until they fire. And then you realize it's real bullets they're not messing about i mean it's it just

amazes me and i don't want to go on about it to the point of boredom for you but you know people

can get hold of all this stuff and be sitting there they can have guns and bullets i know you can get

that in this country but obviously it's so easy in france they've got all the all the right people

there but it's going to be gun battles on the street before long, isn't it?

Especially if this man that they're hunting, they managed to track down, which I'm sure they will.

Madonna led a moving on stage tribute and a minute's silence for the victims of Paris after nearly canceling her show out of respect, but she didn't.

Because I think that's not the point, is it?

The point is, I mean, you know, to say, oh, I nearly cancelled the show,

that then why should we let these people win?

Why should we let these people think that they've won?

So they didn't.
