I hope you had a splendid weekend. I hope it was as exciting as one of my colleagues who just revealed to me that he assembled a flat pack chest of drawers.

As a genuine example of how much fun he'd had this weekend, I can sympathise. I can understand that position, although

perhaps not at that tender age. Quite a lot to get through today, although it is an odd

diet of news. Brexit hasn't moved an inch since Friday, apart from Theresa May's very odd home

video, in which sitting on the sofa, she attempted empathy, I think, would probably be the

kindest way of describing it,

and ended up inevitably, looking just as, if not slightly more awkward than ever.

But this notion that they may somehow today emerge with a permanent customs union,

although they may have to call it something else,

and that Labour will agree and they might try to get it through Parliament without approval from the people,

well, it's interesting.

But we're doing things upside down today, so we'll get on with that in the last hour of the programme.

It's slightly open to your suggestions on what you would feel to be the most important

things to discuss.

The NHS wants to blacklist homeopathy as my weird midlife crisis continues.

And I find myself doing the opposite of what most people do as the half century approaches.

And becoming more mellow and listening more to positions that I would want to furiously rejected.

I'd be keen to have a little chat about that, perhaps, from the point of view, well,

if people, is it really any different from going to church?
