All right, before we move on to today's teacher yesterday, we helped out Katie,

who is teaching seventh grade at Teasley Middle School in Canton.

Hi Bert Show, it's Katie Albertson. Wow, I am just so shocked by the amount of responses

in support from everyone. But my mom told me she had nominated me and I'd been selected.

I was so surprised and honored. I've watched my mom do it, she lives for years and she continues

to inspire me every day. Thank you all so much for your support. I'm absolutely amazed at how

many people donated to the cause. Your generosity will have a huge impact on these kids.

Middle School can be a really confusing time and it's important to make kids feel welcome

and appreciated. Thank you so much again to my mom, the Bert Show, and everyone who contributed

to my first class. She's literally two items shy of having her entire list cleared.

So one is flip side products. I don't know what that mean.

Oh, graphing sides. So their graphs and their dryer waste graph paddles is what they are.

Okay. And then the other one is colorful math theme decor to inspire the kids.

So there's like these little math posters that you can put on the wall.
