Summary

Is it really possible to “have it all?” And if so, what does it take to get “it” so we can finally be happy? Everyone – from your best friend to your work colleague to the latest self-help “guru” – seems to have a different opinion on the matter. Well, in today’s LOVE Life, I argue that we’re actually all asking the wrong question. I’ll explain how to identify exactly what you DO want and why happiness (and balance) is a lot easier to achieve than you may think.

0:57.3

that partner and work really hard and go to the gym and do that hobby. You can't have

1:08.3

type of person who is that kind of happy, crappy, self-helpy person who's like, you can

1:15.2

have it all if you try. You know, if you just believe, you don't have to limit yourself.

1:19.4

You can have it all. It can be like that in life. And those people or the people we want

1:23.6

to strangle because we also know they don't live in the real world and they don't even

1:28.0

themselves have it all. Or they're not even living proof of that themselves. So they're

1:33.6

just wishful thinking. So what is the truth? And I heard someone ask me the other day,

1:38.9

which was an interesting point. They said, okay, if I've accepted that I can't have it

1:42.3

all, which part of it all should I focus on first? I think that there are two opposing

1:50.2

lessons that we often learn in life. And they're not actually opposing, but on the surface
