What is going on? Everybody, welcome back to the Mind of a Macros podcast. As always, I'm your host,

Mike Milner. Today's episode, we are going to talk about a hot topic. There's a new hot topic,

but yeah, it's something that has resurfaced in the news lately and all of the fitness

influencers are jumping at the opportunity to tell you about the dangers of alcohol

dun dun dun so you've probably seen it that the, we're going to start seeing more warning labels and

kind of similar, I think, to what happened with cigarette use, where we started to get

more and more research that showed links to cancer.

And then you start slapping these

labels on packs of cigarettes and smoking went down by a considerable amount. Actually,

drinking is down. If you look at the statistics on how many people are reporting alcohol

consumption, like alcohol sales are down and people are reporting,

drinking less. I think we're going to start seeing. I know we're going to start seeing more

of the kind of same process when it comes to labeling, which is the big news announcement that

just came out where there's more research that has come up that shows direct links to alcohol and cancer.

And then as a result, there's going to be more transparency in labeling.

And of course, a lot of people in the fitness industry are anti-alcohol, right, wrong, or indifferent.

like that happens in the news, they jump at it and they start saying, I told you so, and you

shouldn't be drinking and, you know, all the things. So I want to talk about it from my own

perspective, whatever that's worth. I want to share my opinion and how I'm going to be handling things and what that means for our clients and the things that we're going to be sharing with them.
