Hello, my name is Jesse Meekam with another episode of the Jesse Meekam show, and I'm here each week to obsess out loud about spending purposefully, saving aspirationally, and giving joyfully.

It all comes down to just giving every dollar, every single, beautiful little precious dollar a job.

Now, today I want to talk about something that's not, well, it's, of course, money related because money is us and we are everything.

So money is everything, but I want to talk a little bit about something pretty broad,

and that is making mistakes.

And to start that, I will say something and hope that there are others out you,

out there like me, others of you, that deal with this problem.

And the problem is, I have, well, I have five siblings, two brothers, and both of my brothers

are pilots.

And I'm just curious if there are any others out there that, who also have all of their

brothers that are pilots except for you, you talk into a camera and type things into a computer and your

brothers fly jets. So one thing that was interesting, I was talking with my little

brother who was an instructor pilot for a while teaching these brand new, you just

wet behind the ears, pilots, well not yet pilots, student pilots. And what was

fascinating was hearing him talk about

how concerned they were with what I believe is the term hooking, which just basically means

you made a mistake, you got to go back and try again. And my little brother is the instructor

pilot, and then you've got the student pilot, and you are just, you're watching every single little move.

And it is dangerous.

And they need to be extremely careful.

And mistakes are extremely costly.

And I don't mean that the multi-million dollar jet flies into the ground.
