That is an outdated medical term.

Obviously, it's not used anymore, but they would faint and swoon and be all emotional.

And sometimes they would have, I mean, that went on forever.

But it was Hippocrates posited that the wandering womb, woman's wombs got out of place and the smelling salts put it back in place, allowing them to focus and gain consciousness.
