Her brother's playing to propose at Thanksgiving in front of the whole fam there's one problem and it is a huge problem the family cannot stand this woman and they're actually playing an intervention for him to stop the proposal. She's curious do I side with my

brother or do I side with my family? Mo's got the email. I need some last minute

advice. My brother is planning to propose to his girlfriend over Thanksgiving

in front of all of our family.

Normally this would be something anyone would be so excited about.

The problem is nobody really likes her.

Most of the family thinks she is incredibly rude and selfish. What he doesn't

know is that my parents and other sister were planning to have a sit-down talk with him when he is in

town. Basically, it will be an intervention. They assume that I will be

participating too. I'm trying to remain neutral, but it's not so easy. I do see

all the concerns that everyone else has. Ideally, he'd be with someone else. However, I also like to

avoid involving myself and problems that are not mine. So, while my family is

planning this blunt intervention, he's been shopping for a ring.

I'm the only one that knows.

I feel like I'm playing both sides of the field.

What I need to know is do I tell my brother what my family is planning or do I tell my

family what my brother is planning or do I just stay out of it and watch the train wreck happen.

That is a bad, bad spot to be in.

I feel like the word intervention's been thrown around a lot lately.

Like, I feel like an intervention should be something that's like life or death very serious.

Like for a parents and a sister had to have an intervention because they don't like your girlfriend.
