Who doesn't want to talk about taxes?

Well, I'll tell you who does want to talk about taxes, and that is Donald Trump, the President of the United States and the Republican Party.

They have had this date in the diary for weeks and weeks as a time to do a big PR push on all the tax cuts that were agreed in last year's big, beautiful bill act. And they've got a lot of stuff planned today. Dash, we've got the president rolling out this morning on Fox Business with Maria Barty Romo. I'm sure he's going to be talking about these tax cuts. Carolyn Levitt, the press secretary, has invited Scott Besson, the Treasury Secretary,

into her briefing at 1 o'clock.

I'm sure he wants to talk about tax cuts.

Republicans on the Hill have got events plans,

and beefing up a load of advertising around it.

My question for you is, Dasha,

are they actually landing this

with the people that matter the voters?

Well, I think the question is, are they going to let the message play out?

Because we already saw this week the DoorDash stunt, for example, the president stepped on

that moment with attacks on the Pope and with the meme he posted of himself
