patreon and um i want to mention it because I think it's a really good

question, and I haven't super explored it. I've been talking a lot about the need for nose tackling

whatnot. Jonathan Ford is there, but eh, you know what I mean? I don't really know that we necessarily have that solved.

And he said, I was looking at all the things written about Nazir after we picked him up last year.

He seems Taylor made to be a perfect fit at Nose and Gannon's defense. Do you think we'll see him

take a step forward this year? Or do you view him as a bust? Well, certainly not a bust. It's way too early to declare

anybody a bust. I'll say he's always been kind of a low probability guy just because of the fact

that he was a later, you know, pick. Well, undrafted, technically, he wasn't picked. It's kind of picked.

I don't know. I don't know the freaking vernacular, okay?

He was a UDFA.

Now, a lot of people said at the time that they were surprised that, if anything,

the two Georgia defensive tackles that we picked up,

Nazir would have been the guy taken in the, I think it was sixth round,

and Benson would have been the guy that was undrafted.

So certainly not a Boston.

And what I said in response, in short, is that if nothing else, I think he has a significantly better chance of reaching his full potential with Gannon as opposed to our

defense prior to, which was, again, more geared toward penetration into the backfield.
