Dr. Berg answers the question from someone who wanted to know, can you do a ketogenic diet if you’re on medications? Ketogenic Diet has a huge effect on lowering insulin and for many health conditions that are connected to high levels of insulin, the need to lower the medications will be high. Medications will affect and block the ability to get into ketosis. The overall goal is to use keto as a way to correct your diet and normalize body function so the need for medication is totally gone.
