and a threat assessment.

Welcome, Eric, nice to see you again. Thank you for having me back, sir. More fortunate circumstances today, but that unfortunately it's the afternoon of Thursday, November 14th, 2019. We're recording this in the LA area and this morning a student

reportedly shot several others in a suburb in the city of Santa Clarita about

35 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.

Santa Clarita is an affluent suburb.

It's the site of a Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Very nice neighborhoods up there.

We got a report this morning. everybody's waking up doing their morning routine and hear this all too familiar refrain these days.

Eric, we've talked at length previously on the show about current topics relating to school safety, campus threats, that kind of thing.

Unfortunately today is one of those days.

To give you a little background, we've got, as I said, it's the afternoon of November 14th.

Some of these details may change.

A lot of the stuff's preliminary reports.

Los Angeles County officials said this morning and updated through the day.

The Santa Clarita Sheriff's Station received a report of shots fired at Saugus High School at 738 AM this morning.

Sheriff's deputies arrived two minutes later on campus at 740 AM.
