I want to turn over to John Chapter 17,

and I want to share with you a prayer

that Jesus prayed the night before his crucifixion. And it says in John Chapter 17 and

verse 20 as he was praying this prayer it says neither pray I for these alone

but for them also which shall believe on me through their word.

So this prayer wasn't only for Jesus disciples and the situation he was in.

He specifically said that he was praying this. and the night before his crucifixion

when he was going to be going through the, you know, unspeakable things. There's no way for

us to fully understand. As Claire was talking about, you know, it's hard to explain

what being pregnant is to a man.

Well, likewise, it's hard for us to understand

what Jesus went through, not only the physical suffering, but to have God limited

to being in one body, in one place, and to suffer things, and to be ignored ignored to walk by people that he created and they

don't even notice him.

The scripture says that when we see him there is no beauty in him that we should desire him and just

the anonymity that he had when he was Lord of all and you know millions who knows how many angels worshipped him and all of the glory

and to come down and be just a normal person with nothing special about him and people ignore him. He went through a lot more

than just the physical suffering and I'm not minimizing that at all, but in the midst
