| 1:36.9 | in a culture that's transient, where people are moving quite a bit. And what this does is this breaks those bonds of |
| 1:53.4 | family and support from loved ones that are so necessary, that are so essential. |
| 2:10.6 | And this can create depression and isolation unless you surround yourself with a core group of friends or even one close friend. |
| 2:15.7 | So friends in many cultures that are very transient like in the United States |
| 2:22.1 | where I live are replacing those family ties. And I notice this because I live in Florida, |
| 2:31.8 | but I'm from Washington State, |
| 2:36.3 | and most of my family is still there. |
| 2:41.0 | And so I find that I rely on my friends a great deal, |
| 2:47.7 | especially when it comes to support when I'm going through a difficult time. |
| 2:55.0 | I find my friends are actually a bigger part of my life than my extended family. |
