Hi everyone, welcome to season three of the Passion and Purpose podcast with myself

and these amazing guys that are here today.

I am so excited for season three because we're going to be talking about one of the most

significant things that I've ever been a part of in my life, and that is Passion 2024. And we're going to start

that today with a conversation with Christian Mel and Brett, just talking a little bit about

the journey to passion, the journey to the bends, and particularly as you guys were carrying

the songs for Passion 24 all year long, and then seeing how God moved in the midst of those songs and in

our midst while we were in that place. So welcome Brett. Great having you on board.

Brett is a very special friend of mine. Yes. Special guy. Honored. Yeah. And the family. Yes. And

Christian Stanfield, Melody Malone, thank you guys for joining

the Passion and Purpose podcast. I'm excited. Absolutely. We're happy to be here. Yeah. Yeah, we have not

been in a face-to-face conversation, the four of us, since Passion. That was 40 days ago.

Wow. When we walked out of the bends and wow you know I'm I was talking to

Levi Lesko yesterday and I hadn't talked to Levi in real details since passion and he and

Jenny were going on and on about conference for the whole podcast we did together and the whole

time I just found myself feeling clunky. Like I don't know how to

get the right words around what we experienced at passion this year. And we've had an amazing run of

following God for 25 years-ish. And we've seen God do some incredible things. But this year,

you know, that watermark on the tree is pretty high.

And the flood came through and you can see the residual, I think, on every heart and every life that was in that place.
