Top this morning. Max Cohen is in California in Buena Park, California, his date line says,

rather, so I have to believe he's there. He has a really interesting item this morning

about the dozen plus vulnerable House Republicans who hold districts that Joe Biden won in 2020.

Max makes the point, a very good point, based on his reporting out in California, that these

Republicans are not distancing themselves from Trump. The five Republicans in the Golden

State who represent seats that Biden, one, are not putting distance between themselves and Trump.

And much has changed, he argues, since 2020, when Biden beat Trump in a popular vote in

electoral college landslide. Biden is currently trailing Trump in the polls nationally,

stuck in a 38% approval
