More than a dozen 2020 candidates were in California this weekend for the state's Democratic

Convention. When it comes to prescription drugs, no middle ground. When it comes to abortion,

there is no middle ground. Our country is in a time of crisis. The time for small ideas is over.

We need to begin impeachment proceedings and we need a new commander in chief.

This is a long history here in San Francisco.

Moderates here are the outlier.

Medicare for all may sound good, but it's actually not good policy, nor is it good politics.

14 of the Democrats' 23 candidates showed up for this weekend's California State Party Convention

in San Francisco. Now they're dispersed, for the most part, to other parts of the country.

But California's presidential primary is officially underway. Not since 1972,

Democrats in the largest state and the Union had a decisive impact on their party's nominee.

Will it finally happen again next year?
