who is a candidate for governor of California and doesn't really need that much introduction.

Obviously, a decathlete Olympian medalist and famous reality TV show star and entrepreneur and all kinds of things that you've accomplished in your life. Caitlin, great to see you.

Thanks for joining me today. It is absolutely my pleasure to be with you today, Martha.

You know, I want to go back and talk about what we just talked about

a little while ago on TV because for anybody that missed it, I think I was listening to one of

the first interviews that you did when you were, when you announced for governor. And I was so

struck by your family's military history. I think it's an extraordinary story. There are not

too many people who have relatives who landed on Omaha Beach.

And you became very emotional talking about the fact that President Biden did not recognize D-Day in any way on June 6th this year.

And it's clear that you just have so much pride and love for your dad and for what he did.

My dad was a really good person.

He was your typical middle-class American person.

He actually was born in Canada and when he was like two years old, moved to, the family moved to Boston, and he grew up in Boston.

Even till the day he died, he still had a Boston twang.

And, but he was a patriot. He loved this country.
