All right, Caitlin, welcome to the man talk show. How you doing? I'm great. Thank you so much for having me.

I'm looking forward to this conversation. I've like been geeking out on my YouTube stats lately and I saw

0:22.1

that you followed me and I started checking out your work and I went down the Caitlin rabbit hole and

0:26.3

I was like, oh yeah, we're going to have a great conversation. Dude's going to love this. Let's get in.

0:32.0

So thanks so much for being here. Let's start off with a little bit about high level. I like starting high level and then drilling down. So what are some of the keys to a vibrant, satisfying sex life in a long-term relationship? And where do we normally go wrong?

0:50.1

There are a couple foundational pieces to a great sex life. And the first one and the most

0:56.1

important one is the sexual relationship that you have with yourself. And I don't mean that

1:00.6

just from a physiological perspective, like, do you masturbate, what's your masturbation routine

1:33.3

that they take from women, not something that they give. It's something that women tolerate.

1:37.8

And even if you've had a lot of corrective experiences and in your personal life, know that that's

1:42.6

not true, we still swim inside of those

1:44.9

messages as a culture. And so how do you relate to yourself as a sexual being? Do you own

1:50.6

that you are an erotic being and that you have the right to an enjoyable and pleasurable

1:55.2

erotic life? And then from there, how do you relate to yourself and your body? Some of the

2:00.5

major things that men deal with that cause the most trouble inside of their

2:05.4

sexual relationships, whether that's in a long-term relationship or a new one, is that they

2:09.6

unconsciously bring in that shame and those messages and the habits that they have fallen into inside of their own solo sex practice
