up what the racist book was that I read my daughter. Did you read it all the way through

or you stopped when you got to know? No I stopped about halfway through the flip to

the end of the season. Where did the book come from? That's what I want to know. Like

how did it wind up in rotation? So one of Gretchen's aunts is a retired like elementary

school teacher. Oh so at one point she just gave us like probably like 200 books. And

so various ones find their way in there and this one was a hello Hazel. Hazel is now.

My cat is now up behind my head rubbing on my my ears as I'm talking. Perfect. I wish

I had that going on. So this one. Yeah. It's about this old Mary couple who couldn't have

children and they wish that they could have children. And one day this giant fish shows

up and grants them the wish that they could have children and it takes them around the

world for stop is is Africa where the fish says look there's a little orphan boy. That

is your child. And this couple says that child is too black and we're all white. Yes.

And you get to that page you're like huh. That's one way to look at it. Yeah. Well let's

read let's let's keep going. Maybe the maybe they're going to learn a lesson here really

quickly. And so the next one he takes them to like India and that child is too brown

and they are all white. This author is a genius. I failed to see the problems with this book.
