Now if you'd have been able to see through CCTV cameras into our office when we started our companies,

you'd have seen us pretty much make a mess of bringing on new members of staff.

And my induction process for members of staff

was, there's your computer, there's your desk.

Now go make me a load of money and don't ask me any questions.

And of course I haven't even given them the log in for the computer.

And I was very much like, well, I'm an entrepreneur, you be an entrepreneur,

you go and sort it out and work it out.

And by the way, I'm too busy to train you up.

That's why I've hired you because I'm too busy so work it all out for yourself.

And that was not a good induction process and onboarding process.

And over the last 11 years we've refined and iterated our process for

bringing on team members and we've learned a lot through attrition because by

the way when you chuck people in at the deep end you know I used to have this sink or swim mentality
