And today's guest has made a career out of combining sports and comedy. He's a former writer

for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, former creative director for House of Highlights, a stand-up comedian,

and writer, director, and founder of follow-through, a sports entertainment studio. At the time of

recording, we do not know if his beloved Lakers have made the conference finals. So while he's

pretending to answer today's questions, he's probably thinking about how to get Rui Hachimura going

you know basketball Jones starters and no dunks. And so I've seen your guys his name and knew

you guys are big part of that. So just wanted to shout out my love and probably why the hell

I'm here because of people like you. So happy to be here. Well, thanks very much. That's very sweet. Isn't that sweet, J.D? That's so sweet, CJ. Thank you. J.D., obviously, a huge basketball fan. So anytime he hears that he's responsible for someone getting into basketball podcast and everything like that, he's very, very excited. So I wanted to talk about follow-through for a second.

So it is, I believe, where you are physically right now, but you have a sports

entertainment studio.

I see you're doing a lot of work with brands like Nike.

I was curious which players that you've worked with, because you basically shoot videos with players that are either like advertisements or branded content or kind of viral videos, that kind of thing.

Any favorite athletes that you've worked with so far?

Geez.

Off the top of my head probably recently was Zion Williamson.

You know, we've been doing a lot of video, a lot of the stuff that we do now that are the most profitable are, you know, these Jordan commercials, these Nike commercials.

And so this will actually connect back to some of my jobs in the past, but worked with Zion for his new shoe that was dropping.
