Grant finds me in bed in the middle of the day. Lordess has taken Ella out for a walk and I'm too zonked to move.

An overflowing Zara shopping bag sits in the corner of the bedroom,

yesterday's hall.

I'd plan to do a try on for my followers. People genuinely appreciate seeing

the stuff I find at Zara, but I have zero energy. I can't even bring myself to work from

my desk like a normal person. Instead I'm propped up on a wad of euro shams with my laptop,

drinking mint tea that I wish were a latte and worrying about the identity of Birch Baller six.

I've just typed Birch Baller into Google,

but all that's come up is an online store that sells balls made of white Birchwood.

Great for making models and crafts, the description reads.

Honey, you working? Grant pokes his head through the doorway.

He's wearing a gray blazer and his hair is combed back,

slicked through with the gel he over uses.

I click out of the search results window.
