Good morning, friends.

Welcome back to the fourth episode of Breakfast with the Beats.

I'm Mike Carter.

I'll be hosting today, and I'm here, as always, with my good friend, my confidant.

And the guy that I'm trying to look more like, for those of you who might see the video today,

I got my haircut and my beard trim this week, so I no longer look like Grizzly Adams.

And I'm trying to look like Dave, aka Jason Statham. Unfortunately, I'm about 100 pounds heavier than Dave, and I don't look anything like Dave. And Dave's also much far younger, as we discussed last week, than I am. Dave, how are you doing this fine Saturday morning? I'm feeling good about myself after that intro, but let me see the sides in the back of your hair.

Let me see.

Oh, okay.

Yeah, you're looking good there.

The beard is trimmed. I'm not going to show you my bald spot.

That continues to grow at an exponentially high rate.

I don't know. I'm not sure.

It's not so great.

But you know what? I woke up today. That's a blessing. We have a double header against our rivals today, Geneva. Yeah, it's a big day. It's a big day. And there's frost on the ground, as I explained to you earlier this morning. It's 33 degrees here outside of Chicago. and I'm wondering if our games will start on time or if we're going to be up to our ankles and frost this morning at Geneva's fine field. So shout out my boys, as always. You know,

they got to shout them out. We had a sweep this week, Dave. We swept another rival and three game series this week.

Everybody's playing well.

I really want to shout out our guys that have been on the bench and then got some

playing time this week, Jacob Ashley, Michael Angelini, and also Hudson Pierce, and those

guys got a chance to play this week and then made the most of it and beat one of our rivals this week. So kudos to those guys. I do really love coaching this team. They're a fun group of kids and they have a winning mentality and they're learning how to play winning baseball. So shout out to those guys. And today's a big day for Batavia baseball. We'll see what ends up happening. So excited to be there and having a good time with it.
