Good morning, my friends.

This is your old pal, Mike Carter, coming back to you here with our rebranded podcast with my good friend and co-host, Dave Funnel, north of the border in Ontario, not rural.

He's near Toronto, kind of, kind of a Blue Jays fan fan kind of not um good to be back with you all here

you know us as the fantasy baseball beat for the last couple of years and this year we are going

to go about it in a little bit different fashion we are rebranding podcast. We are still with our lovely family at

Pitcherlist. A huge shout out to Josh and Parker and Nick for having us back this year on the

Pitcherless Family Network. We are thrilled to be here. But Dave and I are going at it solo this

year because our good friend Chris Torres has had some life changes

that have happened and he's not able to commit the time to be able to record with us during

the course of the week. We'll talk more about that in a minute. But our new rebrand is called

Breakfast with the Beats. And Dave and I are going to be recording early mornings with our coffee and our

eggs and bacon if we're so inclined and talking a little bit about different things that we've

always done with the show. We're going to talk about Beat writer articles. We're going to talk

about injuries. We're also going to talk about those wicked bullpens and the things that are

happening in them on a weekly basis. And we hope that you'll decide to stick with us and join us on this crusade through the

baseball season as we begin here in early April. Dave, checking in with you. How are you? What have you

been up to? First of all, I'm doing great. You know me. I'm a morning person. So this is fantastic for me.

And actually, for both of us, because we're both morning people. So it actually works out pretty well.

But yeah, no, I'm doing okay. As you know, I'm a teacher. So I'm teaching, watching and writing

about a lot of baseball and just enjoying all there is to enjoy

with the game that we both love.
