Hanna and Noreen are officially retiring from the waves.

We've had a lot of great emails from listeners about how sad they are, and we are also very sad. But the show must and will go on. And we're so

excited to still have this great diversity of voices here on the waves.

June is staying with us, which we are so pleased about.

We've also heard from you guys about our segment on the Women's World Cup.

I was actually kind of surprised by how many people wrote in saying that the U.S. women's national team was being bad sports by

celebrating their victories so enthusiastically against Thailand. One person said that the

celebrations had a real Murraca fuck yeah vibe to them that was antithetical to the spirit of the

World Cup. Another said it was a Canadian listener.

She said, you know, my husband plays recreational hockey.

He said that if one team trounces the other and rubs their faces in it,

there may be a price to pay afterward in the parking lot.
