Summary

The old adage is that money can't buy happiness. But what if it can? Anthony and Jeff take a look at new studies that attempt to put that notion to the test, scientifically. The answer might surprise you. Then, a Finnish astrophysicist has written a paper detailing a plan for a human colony, not on Mars or the Moon, but in a floating satellite orbiting the dwarf planet Ceres, between Mars and Jupiter. Jeff and Anthony discuss the feasibility of such a plan, and whether they see themselves living on a discworld in 20 years.

my non snarky, joky response. Yes. As the host of an award winning science podcast.

Yeah. I will drop the facade. And I'll talk to you from the heart.

2:09.0

And I'll say what I truly believe is that yes, money cannot buy happiness, but money is

2:19.5

required to have comfortability. Happiness is much more difficult to attain without comfortability.

2:27.4

You're you're a high-archie of needs, man. Exactly. Once, once needs are met, I mean, you can have
