We'll be talking about some more of our thoughts from week one. We got a few things that we could touch on. I know on Monday's show I went over each game and gave my thoughts on each team, but it's a couple more things that I want to hit on. And then we're going to turn our attention here to the week two slate kicks off Thursday night, Washington, the Giants, the start of the Taylor Heineckee era for Washington.

We're going to touch on that a little more later with our guests today.

Another one of these triple threats, writer, podcaster, TV personality, and another first time guest here. We've had a few of those recently. So, Jamie, welcome to the show, man. I'm glad we were finally able to make this happen. How you doing after week one? I'm doing good. Thanks for having me. This has, yeah, been a long time coming, so I'm glad we're able to connect. and it be should be fun recapping what was a certainly a fun week and you know, obviously an exciting week too ahead. Well, before we get going here, I can also say from experience, I'm in a lot of analyst leagues, but Jamie is one of the toughest trade partners out there. And I mean that in a good way, man. I mean, I don't think you're ever going to get shorted on a deal. When we talk trades, we go back and forth like a million times. And I know we managed to make at least one deal in our dynasty league together. And I think it's worked out pretty well for both of us. It was a few years back now. But I think it came down to Josh Allen for Matthew Stafford and Austin Echler. and I think Michael Gallup was the other piece there.

That was before Alan had really broken out and Echler wasn't the number one guy for the Chargers yet.

So it's kind of a lot of moving pieces to think back there a few years ago.

But I think it worked out.

We've both been contenders in that league for a while now and with Stafford in L.A.

And Echler obviously being a strong starter there. I think it's looking pretty good for you. I got to tell you that yes, it was a, I think a good trade for both of us. You got, you got in on Alan who I was certainly not happy to part with. The package you gave me, I think, was, was fair, knowing where Alan was going going to become i think one of the more surprising

things about that league and you're referencing uh the industry dynasty league that we're in

uh which was you know started by the the great mike taglieria and where i was salpulling for

him uh to get better um was typically that it's a super flex league the quarterbacks in that league

goes so early i got out i, toward the back end of the

second round, which was surprising for what his, you know, even if you were concerned about him

coming into the league, you know, you'll usually see, you know, first round quarterbacks go that

late in that, in that league. So I was thrilled to get him when I did, and I was, like I said,

not, not fond of parting with him and i remember when we

made the deal uh it was right before i think the the chargers maybe got rid of melvin gordon or
