Welcome, everyone to the score fantasy football podcast.

I'm your host, Justin Boone, the lead fantasy analyst at The Score.

Thank you so much for tuning in today.

This is already our third show of the week because we did that two-parter. First going over the

0:27.1

AFC takeaways from week one on Monday and then the NFC takeaways on Tuesday. Hopefully you

0:32.3

listen to those. I thought it was important to do because just so much changes after week one. And

0:37.2

it's not done. Some of the biggest performances we saw in the openers, they're going to turn out to be fools gold. Some of those disappointing results, they're going to just be outliers. Guys are going to go on to have great seasons, even if they started slow. So our job is to help guide you through that. We're going to continue to break it down today with our guest, Jeff Ratcliffe of FT, and one of our favorites. He's been coming on the show for years now. And in my first season, not the Fantasy Pro's accuracy contest, Jeff's the one that took it down. He came away with the trophy. So we'll bring him on in just a second. But before we do that, just a reminder, the first edition of my week two rankings went up on Tuesday, and the week two trade value charts went up Wednesday morning, and there might be some surprising things in there, because we're reacting to all this new information, so make sure you give those a look, and just like last week, we're to use the trade value chart to highlight three players who I think you should be trying to trade for right now. So let's take a look at my top trade targets heading into week two as we try to take your roster and frank it up, just like our friends at Frank's Red Hot. And the first name on my list here is a Munra St. Brown. And often when we're looking at these trade targets, it's guys that you're trying to buy low on because they're coming off a bad week or there's some sort of issue. But in this instance,

1:47.7

I don't think people are going to react enough to St. Brown's performance in the opener.

1:52.6

After all the concerns that we had about him potentially not seeing the same kind of volume that he did down the stretch last year when essentially everybody in the lion's offense was hurt,

1:56.9

well, those worries can be put to rest. St. Brown saw 12 targets this past week, caught eight of them for 64 yards and a score. We heard from Jared Goff in the preseason that St. Brown is his go-to target. That is clearly true. This is also a Lions team that has a good offense, but a bad defense. So we're going to see a lot of shootouts, a lot of trailing game scripts. They're going to have to throw a ton.

2:18.0

I've moved St. Brown up into my high-end wide receiver 2 range. And if you have someone like C.D. Lamb, for example, who's in a tough spot now, Dak Prescott could be out for a while. I'd be looking to trade Lamb for somebody like St. Brown, maybe even St. Brown plus something before people realize just what he could be this season,

2:35.0

which is a top 20 fantasy wide out more weeks than not.

2:38.5

Another receiver who you should try to get.

2:40.3

Actually, let's make this one a pair of teammates.

2:42.4

Juju Smith Schuster and Marquez Valdez Scanling.

2:44.8

Now, Juju had a nice stat line in week one, eight targets, six catches, 79 yards, but most

2:50.8

of that production came in the first half. The Chiefs were up. They were up big. They didn't need to force it late in the game. So Juju's numbers could have been a lot better in this one. He's definitely the second option behind Travis Kelsey. Juju's settling in as a high volume wide receiver two for fantasy. And you might be able to get him for less than that at the moment. If you can't, then you could go cheaper and try to get his teammate Valdez Gantling, who actually played more snaps and ran more routes than Juju in this game. He even got a carry to go along with his four targets, finish with 44 receiving yards on the day, but there's a lot more where that came from if he continues to be a full-time player in a Patrick Mahomes-led offense.

3:41.6

I'm very bullish on MVS the rest of the way. And then let's finish off with a running back to target. And for this one, we need to take a little bit more of a long view on it. Rookie Breece Hall. I know some people will be worried that the top drafted rookie back in this year's class is playing behind a fourth round pick from 2021. But based on what we heard in the preseason

3:46.8

and the Jets still favoring Michael Carter for now, I expected this split to be worse in week one.

3:52.2

So the fact that Hall played 45% of the snaps with Carter playing almost 60% of the snaps.

3:57.7

I still think that's a positive sign for the rookie.

4:00.1

Even though Carter saw 17 touches, Hall had 12 in the game, that's closer than what we
