The GP doctors have been on a go slow since COVID and are threatening to go even slower.

They complain about overwork, underpaid, try a below average wage all your life, doing physical work,

and maybe you will have a change of mind. We, the lower paid, will be funding you.

And the pensioners who get even less will be getting

extra charges with national insurance payments onto meager pensions well pensions are very much

in the news this morning because one of the stories we're going to be talking to rob merrick

about is on the front page of the telegraph the winter fuel payment cut will save less money

than rachel reeves actually needs.

So, the one big sort of plank of their initial policy before, you know, thinking back all the

way through to the beginning of last week before the riots actually happened, Rachel

Reeves was the big story, wasn't it?

Because she had decided to take away the winter fuel payment from pensioners, which was

seen as a very cruel move.

According to a former pensions minister, Steve Webb, who served as Lib Dem

Pensions Minister during the coalition years, they actually won't end up saving as much

money as they thought, because an awful lot of pensioners will now say, actually, we're going to apply for pension credit. Yes, under the government's proposals,

pensioners will continue to receive the winter fuel allowance if they're judged to be in need of it.
