to Barry, author of Save by the Blaney and a judge of the 2023 LA Spirits Awards. I say

virtually because it sounds John like we'll maybe get a physical physical encounter.

We're gonna have a physical encounter with John to Barry. I'm down. I'm down. We started

talking about this, this judges gig a little bit before we started recording or truth be told

when we failed to record the first time around. You were telling us that you're gonna judge

non-alcoholic categories and THC CBD beverages, right? Yeah. And also just like regular

spirits, but usually they they put me in the non-alcohol section. What are you gonna do with

the THC beverages because having partake in them, they're quite fair. Yeah, well you

don't swallow them, but the thing about THC versus alcohol is that alcohol doesn't absorb

the amount. So you're talking to me. I know. I mean, it's for the it's for the list. Come on.

You know, in case in case not everybody. So you have to be careful. I'm offended.

What is the music? So you are you can't taste too many. You spit them all out. Yeah. Okay.

Yeah, but with alcohol, you can spit all day. Yeah. Right. Right. If alcohol, you can spit

all day, you're usually fine, but with THC, you got to be careful. When you're judging.

Have you ever how much how much of this kind of you done judging of this sort of like just

nobody invited me to miss out. I was potlucks or judges. No, no pie. You did pie. Yeah, that was

like they say the worst year ever at the KCRW by fest. Wow. Also, I can't act. So
