Here's the thing.

I don't think people are inherently, you know, I am as big of a pessimist and a, you know,

negative person is anybody, but I don't believe that people are inherently bad. I actually think that you

see someone in trouble, people step up, sometimes risk their lives to help others, to help

strangers, all that good stuff. I think that people are taught. I think people are

inherently selfish and that's part of our survival mechanism where you know

when we were you know when we were every man from stocks you want to give your tiny

tots yeah I mean you have to you have to try to get as much milk as you can for the

and you're gonna fight fight for it. Yeah.

So I do think we're inherently selfish,

and I think we're inherently stupid.

We're not as smart as you would have thought.

You know, I would have assumed after 2,000 plus years of existence. I know that's even cutting it very short in terms of the amount we've been around we would have improved more we've made

these inventions but here's the thing these inventions I think have given us a false sense of

our own progress we've invented a great deal of things the last 200 years, right?

We've invented just create, it's been crazy. There was not that much that was really changed

over a thousand year period.
