Now I do want to point out before we start this episode that there is a construction

curation outside of my apartment, Chuck and Grates.

I tried to explain to them that we're doing a podcast and that neither of us have set jobs,

but we would prefer to do it right now.

Instead we've compromised by closing the window and now we're here sweating our buns off,

talking about books.

We're a lot like, okay, I was gonna go too far.

I was gonna be like, we're a lot like that reporter who got blown up in Malta because she

discovered the Panama papers.

I was gonna say we're like Romeo and Michelle.

Okay, somewhere in between the two of them.

That's what we are.

And also while we're here, what we're doing here is a podcast where we seek the truth.

Okay, so I just want to remind you before you walk further onto this path with us, if

you are here for a line by line read of a celebrity memoir, we're probably not gonna

provide that.

However, if you're here for a between the lines read, if you want to know where the

truth lies.

Let me tell you, if I learned anything from watching a lot of law in order SPU, you could

get up on the high line and you can walk the normal path or you could dig in the dirt

and find a dead body.
