So we haven't talked to you since the second debate.

You had a pretty spirited discussion about the first one.

But in light of the second one, it's almost like it never happened.

It was kind of kind of the undercard debate if you really want to claim.

They're not having undercard debates for this set of candidates.

They really should, but they're not, but it turned out for the best because you used the last first one was totally forgettable.

Yeah, I think I mean, I wrote a brief piece after the first one, saying among other things how thoroughly unentertaining the first one was and that maybe the second cohort of candidates would take note and make it make the second one more interesting.

It was certainly more interesting.

And then there was obviously one big takeaway, the big takeaway of the night and the lasting moment from that night was the confrontation between senator Kamala Harris and Joe Biden over busing.
