All right, Thrive Nation, welcome back to the Converse stage, what we're talking about

today is how to use humor to win friends and influence people.

Now, I want everybody to get this idea.

When you hold somebody accountable, see, when you have an office and you make a checklist,

this just happened to me, what, this past week, it was a fabulous situation.

We have certain systems that need to be used in some of our companies.

Yes, yes.

And somebody chose not to use the system, but in the meeting I said, hey, I noticed I

didn't receive such and such from you and they said, oh, I made my own system.

Oh, wow.

So not only do they not do their job, they changed a core system.

Now, if you go head on with an alpha, see, in a group meeting who made a change for

whatever reason they thought was the right move, and you don't have a little bit attacked

or a little bit of humor, what's going to happen?

It can turn ugly.

And I'm just telling you this in my life before discovering a lot of these moves, more

often than not, it did get ugly.

So what I want to do is I want to teach this next move to dissolve tension.

I like this move.

This move here in my mind is the most applicable form of humor that everybody can use.

And it's called, it is called self deprecation.
