Today I've come to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, to meet an entrepreneur

who has invented an educational robot for children which likes to dance.

The sort of quantum that we have in Scotland is often different to what you'd get in London or especially across in the States.

I was keen to bootstrap in the beginning a little bit and do the crowdfund just to show that it would work.

Dr Sandy Enoch set up the company Robotical in 2016 after completing a PhD in robotics at Edinburgh University.

His walking robot called Marty was originally designed to engage children and teach them about coding.

It can play football and apparently can use sensors to avoid falling off tables too.

How does fall protection work?

So basically Marti's full of sensors and there's an accelerometer in there, which is measuring acceleration and tilt. And if Marty's sort of getting close to fall over, it'll deactivate.

Marty's also just had a major upgrade to bring him up to date with developments in artificial

The company exports its robots to schools around the world, including North and South America,
