Hi, Evan. Hop on the bus with me let's go let's go so tell us what the route is for the 33

bus line the 33 route I mean've taken that my whole life.

It takes us from Santa Monica over by the pier and the promenade

and takes us down the coast, down the beach to Venice, all the way to Venice Boulevard and then from Venice

Boulevard just goes straight into downtown and if you go along that route which is

why LA Talk really decided to choose this one from a metro guide for the line 33.

It has probably the most epic, legendary historic tacos you can find in Los Angeles.

Yeah, I mean, once you start reading all the places, it's like, wow, I never thought of it in this way.

You highlight 13 places that sit near the route.

Let's do some highlights starting out west in Santa Monica.

I think it's also a reminder to those on the west side

how rich the eating environment is there. Let's start with La Isla Bonita on Rose.

I love La Isla Bonita. You know I when I was young I used to work at a coffee shop just down the street and and go get tacos there. I mean this place has been around since 1986 and fun fact

the reason they're called La Isla Bonita is actually because when they purchased the truck,

Madonna's hit song, La Isla Wonita was the one on the radio.

So it's named after Madana's La Izus Le Bonita.
