The most common definition is something like bullying is the act of repeatedly and intentionally causing physical and

emotional harm to another person with less power and I think a key aspect of this is

It is a form of victimization

Too often I think we treat this as a right of passage

And in people, you know, I think they say oh, yes, bullying is bad

But when it happens and people raise a hand people often think oh that person is being too

sensitive

Indulgent, you know, they just need to toughen up. So I think we have a

mismatch between our understanding that bullying is bad and how we respond to it
