0:57.0	Well, I want to talk today about some of the, well, the significance of some of the
1:01.5	feedback we've been getting for our podcasts over the last month or so.
1:06.0	Difficult it is to believe we have actually been accused by some people out there of being insensitive,
1:12.6	of speaking inappropriately when we criticised other people and even named their names
1:18.0	without having first taken them out for a latte at the local Starbucks.
1:23.1	And I want to talk about the general cultural phenomenon that that kind of response represents.
1:32.3	It seems to me that we live in a world where people are getting increasingly strident, but at the same time getting increasingly hypersensitive to criticism.
1:43.3	And there are various aspects to this, but one of them that seems to me to be very obvious
1:48.0	is there is a fundamental confusion in the universe in which we now live in
1:53.0	between disagreement and personal animus.
1:57.0	We seem to live in a world where if I disagree with something you're saying, then I'm
2:03.4	somehow oppressing you, diminishing you as a person, reducing your humanity. What do you think
