Today is part two of our discussion of Rosaria, Champaign Butterfield's fascinating new book,

Openness, Unhindered, Further Thoughts of an Unlikly Convert.

And we talked last time about same-sex attraction, issues of sexuality, the changing understanding of what it is to be a person, what it is to have an identity, and how that

fitted into the grand scheme of biblical anthropology.

Today we want to zero in on something that occupies less space within the book,

but I think is possibly just as important,

if not one of the most important things that Rosaria talks about,

and that is the issue of hospitality. And I want to start by reading a little section from Book of Deuteronomy.

We often think about the attributes of God and you look them up in your Louis Burkhoff or your

whatever systematic theology you favor.

And you'll find them discussed in terms often of fairly abstract concepts.

It's interesting that the Bible talks about God's attributes in very easy to grasp ways. And here is
