We are, of course, at the start of yet another week.

It's very difficult to imagine why we are, of course, thinking about Brexit.

But here we are once more.

There's been plenty of recriminations.

You've tried making up.

You've tried explaining.

You might even have tried plying them with alcohol in a vain attempt to convince them. But this is D-Day, the day when it all changes, you're moving out and

you're taking your stuff. Anyone that has ever split up with their partner, anyone that has

ever been through a divorce, anyone that has had to work out who owns which books, which DVDs

and which pets will recognise the death throes of a failed relationship. And it is with this attitude that we will leave the European Union, ladies and gentlemen,

not with a view to damaging any future chances of sharing custody of the children,

not with a view to doing the most harm to someone you used to love,
