Here on the Monday edition of the yard, if you saw my tweet that were a little later recording to normal,

I decided to spend an extra evening out in Frisco with the lovely bride who went and was my esteemed photographer for the weekend.

We're going to take the mom and pop show on the road again here to Lexington, Kentucky, here in a couple weeks. We'll see how things go with Biloxi. I don't know yet. We'll see. We'll see. But listen, good weekend in Friscoe. Not a great weekend of baseball. We're going to break all that down. I will tell you, we had a nice contingent of Bulldogs there, had a chance to visit

with Tommy News for a while, Zach Selman, Dak Prescott, Raphael Palmero. I say that not to name

drop, but to show you that how many people turned out to support the Bulldogs is we go and play

in Friscoe, Texas. If you've never made that trip, and I don't know when we go back, I mean, we were back there 19, it's been four years, and I've been both times, I'll tell you, they do it right after. They really run a first-class operation. The scoreboard at times a little bit lags, and I had to stay on the guys about live stats every once in a while. But as far as the city of Frisco and the people that run that tournament, it's outstanding.

It really is.

And George and all those guys out in media relations for Friscoe, do such a wonderful job.

They love college baseball.

It's good to see some buddy David out there too.

I mean, there was just David McGee. A lot of people turn out and make this thing a great event. And I appreciate it. I really do. I love road baseball. I've shared that with you guys before. Part of it's because I like being a big fish in a small pond, right? The only Mississippi State media people there were me and David, and David is just kind of a part-timer, does it for fun.

But no clearing a ledger, no Tupelo Daily Journal, no Columbus dispatch.

You know, just us.

You know, and had a great time doing it, and we're committed to doing it.

We, you know, we believe in providing you guys with unprecedented coverage of Mississippi State Athletics

over at jeanspage.com. I don't know that we have any real competition in many respects, especially

for this time of year. Football practice starts tomorrow, and so on Wednesday we're going to

kind of talk about some of the position battles where kind of be watching in the spring.

And men's basketball, tough loss Saturday night.
