Steve Robertson here on the Thursday evening slash Friday morning edition of the Boneyard.

When I had decided to record now, I got a big day in front of me tomorrow,

driving to Frisco, Texas, me and the bride, taking a trip out there to go cover the Frisco College Baseball Classic. I'm ready to play

baseball again. I am ready to play baseball again. If you've never been, I encourage you to go,

if you're out there maybe looking for something to do this weekend. I mean, chances are you

probably should have already made some plans. But come out and join us. Last time we were there,

Raphael Palmyro threw out the first

pitch. Yeah. Maybe Raphael be there this time. That'd be cool. You guys get up there and get you a

picture made with one of the Bulldog greats, man. I know when basically every time that we have played

in the state of Texas over the last few years, Raphael Palmyro has been there. So you never know. I don't want to commit, Rafi. I didn't text him or anything. But he may be there. But you should be there. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to talk about that later in the show. Of course, it's a busy week in Mississippi State Athletics.

So we're going to recap a disappointing loss in the SEC women's basketball tournament for the Lady Bulldogs.

We're going to look ahead until this weekend's Mississippi State in Vanderbilt matchup in Nashville.

That does not look to be the game it did a month ago. It didn't. They're playing better. Jerry Stackhouse has a guy Van derbyle playing better. There's no if, ands or buts about it. But I firmly believe we're in the tournament now. You know, with a win this week, this weekend, I think you basically remove any, you know, anxiety about next week. I don't think you have to go into next week and win a game.

It wouldn't hurt you.

I mean, the more you win, the better you feel.

And that's the thing too, is like we shouldn't be looking for the minimum standard.

But you and I both know, beginning of this year, we wanted them in to make the tournament,

but nobody really expected that.

It wouldn't have been fair with Chris Jans or the Brandy roster, yet here we are.

And again, I've said it countless times on the show.
