got a breakdown a basketball game that you know didn't go the way we wanted it before we even get cranked up let me just tell you this

we didn't get cheated

We didn't I've seen some people complaining about officiating. I thought officiating was actually pretty good last night

There were a couple of missed calls both ways and I think you can live with that

There was one situation where I thought Cise got a

And this is a different dynamic.

There was a time I thought Cam Matthews got hit with a foul.

There was a little tickey tack.

But listen, that wasn't the difference in the ball game.

It wasn't.

State played sloppy at times in the ball game.

I thought we did some things trying to force the ball into the paint in the early going,

tried to get a little bit cute, some high-risk passes, and we turned the ball over.

And there were other times, Ole Miss just simply played really good defense. And so, yeah, I just want to kind of get that out of the gate because I know a lot of people listen and it's like, hey, we weren't treated fairly. I didn't think that was the case at all. And I thought offensively at times we played really, really well. There were other times that it was a real struggle. and some of that is, again, you give credit to Ole Miss for making some adjustments. There were sometimes defensively we did some things that didn't make a lot of sense. But these were two very well-coached basketball teams. It played a very well-executed game for the most part. But yeah, some crazy things happened in the ballgame, and we lost.

And we knew we talked about this yesterday.

We knew that Ole Miss wasn't a great shooting team.

We knew they weren't a great rebounding team, but they simply find a way to win,

especially at home.
