What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

And yesterday, Lakers hit the practice court again after this past weekend's games to the return of

Marcus Smart. He makes his debut in camp to some rave reviews regarding his intensity

and ability to stay at a high intensity throughout the course of practice. Luca did not practice

in full. He was a modified participant doing individual work, as was LeBron. We got a report

from Shams on TV about how LeBron is probably going to miss

the preseason. That was at least the takeaway I got from it, that he's probably not going to

make his debut until the regular season. And D, we've been champing at the bit, getting ready

for this season to start, talked about what a long off season it was, talked a lot about the

importance of hitting the ground running, of being able to start well and build upon that,

but sort of set the tone for the course of the season and the importance of that if you want

to be a contender. That has not been the vibe, at least, to start out. They didn't play particularly

hard in these two games. They sat out a bunch of guys.

Luca doesn't practice in full in their first practice back, right? And so with that news as well,
