premier distance paddle events. He's also done some unbelievable long distance

journeys of his own stand-up paddleboard kayak and he's going to talk to us about what it means to put together

a great support team to help you get through these long long events and how important

is to have the right people who know the right things. You know when you're getting into larger

expedition type stuff and there's a whole other range of planning that goes into it

a huge part of that is putting together your support group.

So I want to talk to you for a couple minutes about your experience with that and advice you can

give people as far as what is key in putting together a support crew.

So, you know, in the Yukon River, like you mentioned, you had a boat following you that had supplies or you could grab nutrition and clothing changes, things like that. I was reading about your crossing from Cuba to the US in rough open water and there was a support boat that followed you along there as well.

So tell me about what thought goes into putting together support crew, what type of event you would need one for and what lessons you've learned.
