| 0:02.2 | So I want to keep this weekend. So if you guys are in the newsletter email list, you'll get that when it drips out or if you just visit the site, it will live there. So I want to keep this quick so know you guys are busy. So we're talking about building the life that you want. And I'm going to read from the show notes here. So if I veer off the camera, that's why. So again, a lot of people say building an ideal life or having this amazing life of happiness is a fantasy or a fairy tale and they feel like they're pigeonholed and they're stuck in a place |
| 0:42.5 | where they can't change their station or their situation. |
| 0:45.5 | And they play the blame game, which is something I hate more than anything else. |
| 0:50.5 | They blame genetics. |
| 0:51.6 | They blame their parents. |
| 0:52.6 | They blame geographical location, their financial situation that they were born into. They blame genetics. They blame their parents. They blame geographical location, their financial |
| 0:54.9 | situation that they were born into. They blame the economy. Shit, people blame the president |
| 0:59.0 | for damn near everything. And they have this victim mentality forever. And they own it. And that |
| 1:04.3 | becomes their story. In a real talk, you guys, you can build a life you want. And you can build |
| 1:09.3 | an amazing life full of happiness |
| 1:10.8 | that brings you real joy. I'm living proof of it. Now, you can't just have it though. It doesn't just show up at your front door. No one's going to fucking hand it to you. You can't order it off Amazon Prime. It doesn't get there in two days. Like all great things in life, you guys, that are worthwhile, it takes time. Whether that's having an amazing body, an amazing career, an amazing relationship, an amazing life, those things are earned. They're built. They're created. They're not just given to us. So the question is, you know, what is an ideal life? And only you guys can really answer that. But let's start with what it's probably not. |
| 1:45.8 | And this is going to kind of blow some of your guys' minds here, but it's probably not you laying on |
| 1:49.5 | the beach sipping drinks all day. It's probably not you guys living in a $3 million house. It's probably |
| 1:55.8 | not you guys trying to have abs 24-7, 365. And it's probably not you driving around like in a Lambo or a Bentley |
| 2:02.2 | as your daily driver. And I know a lot of you guys are like, well, shit, Jeremy, all those things |
| 2:06.6 | sound super great and awesome. And in theory, they all are super cool things and it'd be great if we could |
| 2:11.3 | have them all at once. However, all the things I mentioned require a great amount of time, |
| 2:17.4 | effort, energy, and most of them |
| 2:19.9 | require a shitload of money to maintain, to have any of those things for at least a decent |
| 2:24.3 | amount of time. And for many of you guys, I don't think the juice is worth to squeeze when it |
| 2:28.5 | comes to those things, meaning you're not willing to sacrifice the amount of time it takes |
